When You Send Your Athletic Equipment to a NAERA Member for Reconditioning/Recertification, You Are providing your athletes and program with a valuable risk management strategy.

NAERA members have been licensed by NOCSAE (National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment) to recertify protective gear like football helmets, which have been reconditioned. This recertification pertains to equipment that has previously met the NOCSAE standard at the time of manufacture.
	The NOCSAE recertification sticker verifies that the reconditioned helmet provides the performance level required by NOCSAE, as it did when it was new. NAERA members have the expertise to recondition a variety of athletic equipment. The goals of NAERA are geared toward making the job of the athletic professional involved in the education of young athletes more cost effective while maintaining protective equipment performance levels.
